Artisanal oenology: from bunch of grapes to bottle

A place full of history, where love for Montecarlo and wine meet, resulting in unique products.

Tradition and quality

The Montechiari wine cellars are located underground on a hill in the centre of the estate, just below the manor house; for this reason, the cool temperatures of the rooms are obtained naturally, and the winemaking processes are simplified.

During the harvest period, the grapes are carefully selected both in the vineyard by hand picking and in the cellar by means of a sorting belt.

Fermentation, which takes place in both steel vats and French oak barriques, is followed by a period of ageing, first in wood and then in the bottle.
