Vinification and maturation: Hand-picked and selective harvest; alcoholic fermentation and maceration on the skins for about 30 days at controlled temperatures. Malolactic fermentation and maturation in French oak barriques for approximately 24 months. This is followed by about 12 months in the bottle before the wine is released for sale.
